Overview
The YFP series is Yanfeng Group's planetary gear reducer. It uses involute planetary gear transmission that makes rational use of internal and external meshing and of power splitting, so the unit is light in weight and small in volume while offering a wide transmission-ratio range, high power, smooth running, low noise and good adaptability. The exploded view shows a bolted housing with ring gears, planet carriers with planet wheels on pin shafts, sun wheels, an output planet carrier, connecting plate, input housing and input shaft, rolling bearings, breather cap, oil plug, covers and lip-type oil seals.
The cover page highlights the same three construction features used across the Yanfeng range: a three-layer high-density polymer paint finish that seals out dust and resists heat, premium ball bearings that reduce friction and improve efficiency, and precision-ground gears in high-quality alloy steel for meshing accuracy.
Units are built with two or three planetary stages (YFP2, YFP3) in a standard in-line structure or with an added bevel gear stage, helical gear stage or bevel-helical stage for right-angle or offset input. Output shafts are offered as hollow shaft with shrink disk, hollow shaft with involute splines, solid shaft with parallel key and solid shaft with involute splines, in sizes 9 to 36, foot-mounted or flange-mounted, horizontal or vertical. Output speeds range from 0.19 to 60 r/min, output torque up to 2,600,000 N·m and motor power from 0.4 to 1293 kW. Add-on pieces such as gear housing base, motor bell housing, motor bracket, swing base, torque reaction arms and a torque shaft support are available.
The catalogue states the series is widely used in metallurgy, mining, hoisting and transport, electrical power, energy resources, construction and building materials, light industry and traffic industry. Units are supplied with dip lubrication; forced lubrication is provided on request, and a motor-driven oil pump is required for larger vertical mounting arrangements.
