Overview

The YFH and YFB series are Yanfeng Group's high-power industrial gear units. YFH is the parallel-shaft (helical) type and YFB the right-angle (bevel-helical) type. Both are described in the catalogue as brand-new hardened tooth-flank gear units with a wide torque range, built on a modular unit-structure design. They can be mounted horizontally (with or without feet) or vertically, and are available with a solid output shaft, a hollow shaft, or a hollow shaft with shrink disk. The exploded view shows a heavy cast housing with bolted housing cover, end covers and shims, helical gear shafts on rolling bearings, input and output shafts with parallel keys, breather cap and lip-type oil seals.

The gears are made of high-strength, high-quality alloy steel that is carburized and quenched.
